With the recent long public holidays for Hari Raya, I would like to wish those who are celebrating this season a happy Hari Raya and those who are not celebrating a good long happy public holidays.

IN the first place, I that everybody will take the opportunities to go back hometown and have a rest& relax session back in the home environment. It turn out that I was quite wrong. As the title says “exodus”, I mean literary- the city centre have been quite quiet and oh my, this is only pre-raya day. Today, as I look out of the window, I saw streams of car tail-gating and bumper to bumper.

As I ask my fellow classmate are they going back? Some say yes and some say no. Then I ask why not going back, they say that they hate to travel and with so many people exuding from the city centre, I bet that you will be arriving hometown quite late. They rather stay back in town and enjoy the quite ambience. Well, it’s true, that sometimes betting the jam can be very tiring and better get prepare with book knowledge, pretty soon we will be require to hand in our assignment.

Recently, i was talking to my lecturer, then he mention about homework and assignments, he quoted this-“this raya break is the best time to do your assignments, and you better at least bring out your 1st draft of essay for that”. I say-“ Come on man!! This raya break is for rest and relax purposes only”. Then, he stated – You be’cha do your work or else I will count you one of the lazy kind’. Hey come on , “ Am i the only person who is going to stop touching my academic stuff this raya break?” Nope, of-course not. There are others too. I told him, that I do place a strong emphasis in my work. He started smiling.

Oh yah, this raya i hope that there will a decrease in the road accident on the PLUS highway. Pray that everyone who is travelling will go in one piece and come back in one piece.

BET THE JAM FOR THIS RAYA BREAK!!!

HAPPY HOLS AND SELAMAT ADILFITRI KEPADA SEMUA KAWAN-KAWAN KU DAN BERHATI-HATI DI JALAN RAYA.

*p/s: I am so voting for DAVID Cook/Cobie Calate –lucky song on www.flyfm.com.my. Vote for him please. Thanks but his rival, David Acculata song was actually not bad also

I will then end with this sumptuous malay halal bakchang that I brought during the ramandan bazaar in Bangsar.

As always,I am the usual girl who will eat the Pamesan Oregano 6 inch long with the turkey breat and turkey ham fillings. I am eatting it for about pass a year already. I taught of chainging my menu or taste but.

Savory Turkey Breast & Ham. Two great taste sensations in one terrific sandwich. Imagine an ensemble of delicious lean and tender sliced turkey breast and smoky sliced ham with your choice of fresh vegetables and your choice of fat-free condiments served on freshly baked bread. Two person can share the 1 foot long sandwich which can be cut half, so each person can have a 6-inches long subway but if you are a big eater then go ahead go buy a foot long.If share , it will cos 8 bucks if only just a 6-inches long would be 9.90 haven’t plus tax, so you will save up about RM 1++. can buy a drinks with that.

This a wrap, a different version of Subway deliciouns bun. It’s a tortila wrap..loving it. I find it not so filling and you can tast the extra ummphhh~ of the filing….uhm……this is heaven, when you are craving for a subway. She is very full now!!! =) hahahahha

Yummylious..

*Lizze is not advertising for subway, she just want to tell how she felt after eating her subway.

Adapted from Malaysian TODAY.

1 In the past there was quite a debate over “Should we change our Maths and sciences syllabus back into Bahasa Malaysia?” That is a stupid remark. You know why it is stupid-because some of the Malaysians couldn’t even spell properly, some student are even quite illiterate in English. IN my opinion, we use stick back to Maths & Sciences in English. In this way, our future Malaysians is able to speak and write properly.

2 Do you think that switching back to Bahasa Malaysia for Math & Sciences is wise? You

decide.

3 We should support the stay put of English in Maths and sciences in Secondary school.

4 Do you ever suffer from a sudden incapability to spell something in English? Like you are so use to writing short forms in Short Messaging System (SMS) on the phone and when it come to write a essay, you become hand tight( ahaha, adapted from tongue tight) =)

5 Below are examples of how many of us speak English today. You better believe it, because they are all are true cases!

6 One student is heard telling the other at the formal function: “ Wah, today you look very extinguisher.” (Disgusting)

7 At a modelling agency, a model asks her colleague…,..”Where you SHOT tomorrow?”

8 An essay by a college student…”He was arrested for parking tickets and other MISTER MEANERS (misdemeanours).”

9 At beauty pageant a contestant says: “I want to be success”.

10 Look this is a funny one: …..Another essay by a student: “ He suffer from low SELF OF STEAM ( self-esteem).”

11 A guy told his friends …”i drank in Bolivia”( oblivion)”.

12 From a notice posted by a student:

“ I pass my test, my grade should be hirer”.

13 This is plain stupid: In a interview:

Question: what is your IQ?

Answer: I can see well……(hahahhahhahahaha).

14 (This is familiar one) **** At a cybercafé during a typical CounterStrike session:

“I kill you till you DIE!”

15 From a letter written by a graduate:

“ You should conscious what you do…”

16 In an Email- resume reply:

Due to the poor standard of English, an employer sends out an email to an interviewee saying:” Sorry, you are not the right candidate for this job. We need someone who can write and speak well in English.” The reply the employer got” So, when I can start?”

17 Usual mistakes you hear:

Please open the TV, open the fridge, open the fan or light please.

18 From an e-mail by a secondary student: “First of all i say you sorry for e-mail you without your permission.”

19 From an essay written by a secondary student:

“ Diabetes is not only cause by the food we eat, it can be cause by genetic inside our body i.e:,..Diabetes can be pass down from our parents or our relative before us maybe because they have diabetes before”.

20 From the latter of a 17 years old: “ I like your word ( work),and what a cute creature( picture) of you….”

21 From an essay written by a secondary student:

Ali is a good and is the friend of mine too”.

22 From a aspiring model during casting: ” My weight is 65 kilos and my TALL is , four feet 12 inches (five feet).”

ok let’s begin  with the acronym of L.O.V.E

L- Let’s all people

O- outgive

V- varieties of

E- encouragement.

Now that L.O.V.E has it’s meaning behind, let’s think about a coincidental love.

Do you think that love have coincidental moment? Love is a universal language. It can be portray in many different ways. To come to think of that how do you protray your love to your partner.?…(* hey , partner can have many different meaning). I know what you are thinking about. Partner=other half??

More recently, i watch a documentary for the Discovery Channel, the documentary sets in Somalia..as you all know the recent case of pirates attacks in the Gulf of Adam. Somalia is a war-torn country which they haven’t recover from the attack of both the Somalia ethic and Ethiopia fighters (www.thestar.com.my.

It was quite a pitiful sight, there was a skinny thin mother who have just given birth to her child, this mother was servery mild-nutritious she didn’t have the money to hired a midwife to help her deliver her baby, and she said this ” i wonder whether my baby in my womb can survive in such hush condition??” Fortunately, ;her baby survive out of the danger of delivery and the current problem is “how to get a proper food for him??” have her heart out, she is willing to give up her live to save her child as he will be her hope for the future generation. Her husband is doing odd-jobs to keep the family going..you see such pitiful conditions, beside that they are living makeshift tents. Their daily foods- MUD CAKE(cake make out of earth). The people there worry a lot - when would my next meal coming?? how do i keep my family going??

Do you want to live in this type of surrounding??

On the other site of the world surface, We Malaysian should be contented with what we have. We have all the food in the world, foods from different cultures, different countries too, and yet we are so chossy about what we eat every day. Isn’t that evil?? Somalis are straving, yet we are so chossy. SO LEARN to be contented with things that you have. Previous, i am not quite contented that i don’t have the chance to study oversea, but now i realise thatnot every Malaysian have the chances to futher thier educations to university studies. Sometimes, we are so gummpy about our Government?? Why our Government is like this? Why this happen to us??? Even sometimes, when it;s rainny, we complaint that rain too much, but Somalia does not even have a frequent downpour.

(CAN”T WE JUST LOVE OUR COUNTRY??). God place us here for a purpose.

Let’s count ourselves furtunate.Be Contented with everything. Count your blessing one by one.

Isn”t this yummy???

ALL GLORY TO MR.PRAWN, yummyilicious.
