With the recent long public holidays for Hari Raya, I would like to wish those who are celebrating this season a happy Hari Raya and those who are not celebrating a good long happy public holidays.
IN the first place, I that everybody will take the opportunities to go back hometown and have a rest& relax session back in the home environment. It turn out that I was quite wrong. As the title says “exodus”, I mean literary- the city centre have been quite quiet and oh my, this is only pre-raya day. Today, as I look out of the window, I saw streams of car tail-gating and bumper to bumper.
As I ask my fellow classmate are they going back? Some say yes and some say no. Then I ask why not going back, they say that they hate to travel and with so many people exuding from the city centre, I bet that you will be arriving hometown quite late. They rather stay back in town and enjoy the quite ambience. Well, it’s true, that sometimes betting the jam can be very tiring and better get prepare with book knowledge, pretty soon we will be require to hand in our assignment.
Recently, i was talking to my lecturer, then he mention about homework and assignments, he quoted this-“this raya break is the best time to do your assignments, and you better at least bring out your 1st draft of essay for that”. I say-“ Come on man!! This raya break is for rest and relax purposes only”. Then, he stated – You be’cha do your work or else I will count you one of the lazy kind’. Hey come on , “ Am i the only person who is going to stop touching my academic stuff this raya break?” Nope, of-course not. There are others too. I told him, that I do place a strong emphasis in my work. He started smiling.
Oh yah, this raya i hope that there will a decrease in the road accident on the PLUS highway. Pray that everyone who is travelling will go in one piece and come back in one piece.
BET THE JAM FOR THIS RAYA BREAK!!!
HAPPY HOLS AND SELAMAT ADILFITRI KEPADA SEMUA KAWAN-KAWAN KU DAN BERHATI-HATI DI JALAN RAYA.
*p/s: I am so voting for DAVID Cook/Cobie Calate –lucky song on www.flyfm.com.my. Vote for him please. Thanks but his rival, David Acculata song was actually not bad also
